Located in the underground shopping strip Nishibori Rosa (below Nishibori Street in Niigata City), this jazz museum where live concerts are sometimes held was created to revitalize the shopping area.
Based on the image of a park and streets filled with jazz, the interior incorporates the design of Steinway piano-like curves built into the walls, which can be used as a bench as
well as to display various objects, creating an environment that induces people to gather.
When there are live concerts, each visitor sits wherever he or she wishes on the curved bench, allowing themselves to be moved by the music and the atmosphere.
