HAP office/Office renovation in Kameda

In this project a steel frame constructed residential house was remodeled into an office for a paint company.
The work began by stripping the home's interior to expose its metal frames and thoroughly checking the state of the structure to start redesigning the house.
The client wanted to have an office, a lounge, and meeting areas while maintaining as much of the original state of the structure as possible by minimizing the amount of remodeling.
The main focus of this project lied in designing locations for fixtures such as the concrete stair-landing, two room-like spaces, a long table made of wood scaffolding planks,
and a long, overhead light.
Installations of these primary items included such fine details as incorporating the roughly edged concrete slabs into the design and the overhead lights made of bent, metal sheets
that create a certain level of tension in the atmosphere.
Although the remodeling of this office is finished, the architect believes that this project will see its true completion once the client determines how to use the space.
