harappa na ie/House in Nuttari

In this house designed to be a place where people can gather, the architect created an open field from an empty lot.
The building is placed off center in the lot, with a roof with a steep incline facing towards the middle, letting in light onto a field.
A small passageway connecting the front of the house to the field draws the attention of those passing by, and leaves them interested and curious about the building.
In Niigata City where most of the lots for houses are quite cramped, this is one idea of how to utilize space to maximize its comfort.
